What better way to prepare for a trip to Boston than to go to a James Taylor Concert. Can you believe he came to Dallas, of all places? Last year (2008) I thought I'd check to see where the boy was going to be playing and the entire year he was in the U.K. except for one weekend at Tanglewood in Boston - and it was our Anniversary, Aug.24 - but we ended up with conflicts and couldn't go then.
This year he decides to tour and lo and behold he comes to the Texas State Fair Music Hall. Wow. A New England Liberal Musician playing in Dallas Texas! And the weekend before we go to Boston. Went with Bobby and Suzie and it was a grand occasion. Great performance. Over two hours. His voice was strong. His song list was outstanding. His back-ups superb.
