Mavs blow game 3 at home, despite the NBA acknowledging the officiating screw-up. BUT, the Mavs did not execute down the stretch like they should have. Ends up costing them the series. Cindy and I went to Game 4 and had a great time helping the Mavs do what they couldn't do in Game 3 - Finish! But, down 3-1 the inevitable happened, losing to the much more talented, more athletic, more obnoxious (especially their head coach - Fat Face George Karl).
If we're going to transition to baseball this is the right time. The Rangers are hot. Maybe red hot. They win 2 straight on walk-off hits which is always an exciting way to win. The Dallas Morning News (DMN) had the best headline - "Party at the Plate" - referencing the team piling on the winning runner as he crosses home. 2.5 game lead on Angels heading into Saturday game vs. the Halos.
5 days until we leave for Boston. Then this blog is really going to pick up steam(ers). Yahoo!
