The cost of living in Norway

Friday afternoon. What do you do? You stop by the Grocery and pick up a 6-pack of beer, a can of Pringles and a bag of fresh cherries (hey, you gotta have something that's nutritional). That cost? In Norwegian Krones that would be 209.00, which in US Dollars is...wait on it...wait...$35.00!! The beer - $20. The Pringles - $3.30. The cherries - a whopping $11.70. (that would be $12/lb. to you).
